Social Media Intern at Creative Spark

You’ll be assisting the Social Media Manager with marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities including:

• Curating relevant content to reach our clients’ audiences in context to objectives
• Writing, brainstorming and planning editorial content, including social media posts for Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, blog posts for various brands
• Assist in monitoring, listening and responding to users on various platforms in a “Social” way while cultivating relationships and user engagement
• Overseeing design (ie: Facebook Timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, LinkedIn Cover) Experience in Photoshop and Indesign would be advantageous.
• Helping design, create and manage promotions for Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn campaigns.
• Compiling report for clients showing results (ROI).
• Assist in mapping out marketing strategy and then driving that strategy proven by testing and metrics.
• Monitoring trends in Social Media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.

Requirements

• Communications/PR degree advantageous
• Willingness to work long hours and ability to work under pressure
• Fluent in English
• Excellent understanding of the social media space – CV and sharing of social media platforms to demonstrate this
• Some use of third party social media monitoring tools such as Hootsuite and Sprout
• Social media measurement including the use of tools such as Google Analytics
• Excellent communicator
• Excellent grasp of the English language with a strong focus on grammar and spelling

Advantageous

• Google qualified
• Digital design experience, including Photoshop and InDesign
• Understanding of web development and design
