Nedbank: Property Valuations Internship Programme 2015

Qualification

•  National diploma in Property Valuations or B.Sc Hons degree in Real Estate, majoring in property valuations (essential)
•  National diploma in Property Valuations or B.Sc Hons degree in Real Estate, majoring in property valuations (preferred)
•  Candidate Valuer (without restrictions) registered with SA council of Property Valuers Profession.

Requirements

•  Candidate Valuer (without restrictions) registered with SA council of Property Valuers Profession.
•  Registered with Institute of Valuers or Black Valuers Association preferable.
•  Good understanding of the commercial property market would be preferable.

Competencies

•  Compile valuations of all types of properties for mortgage lending purposes, including insurance valuations, assessment of property risk and ensuring compliance with procedures,
•  Attend site / technical meetings,
•  Contribution to continuous improvement in methodology, quality & accuracy,
•  Build and maintain client relationships (internal and external),
•  Assist valuations manager to manage projects and building disbursements, as necessary.

•  Valuation techniques & models
•  Basic Knowledge of commercial property Market
•  SAPTG (Property Sales Information)
•  Internet knowledge
