MOBILE RAF OFFICER: KIMBERLY

Purpose of the Job: Reporting to the Manager: Origination, the successful incumbent will be responsible for assisting the Fund with collection of missing or outstanding information and documents for a motor vehicle accident linked to RAF claim.

 

Key Performance Areas
• Collect outstanding documents for claims department.
• Assist in operating claims
• Liaise with hospital-based consultants and Information Officers.
• Merits and Quantum investigation (as per instruction from claims departments).
• Tracking and tracing of claimants and drivers
• Statement-drafting and collection (assist insured drivers with completion of statements).
• Advise potential claimants with regards to lodging a claim with RAF
• Liaise with stakeholders regarding accidents information (SAPS, RTMC, Hospitals, mortuaries).
• Attend to major accidents to obtain information.
• Claims File reconstruction (for lost files).
• Transportation of claimants to experts for assessment.
• Report writing and Admin work.

 

Qualifications and Experience
• Matric or equivalent qualification.
• Certificate in road accident investigation will be an added advantage.
• Accident Assessor certification will an added advantage.
• Valid driver’s license.
• 2 year’s experience in an administrative environment.

• Computer literacy in MS Office Suites

• Communications skills
• Driving skills

 

Remuneration
The Total cost to companyminimum remuneration package applicable to this position is
R222 568.00per annumand will be negotiable commensurate with experience
