Who’sWho Southern Africa is looking for a go-getting intern to join their team for 6 months. If you’re ready to learn about brand building, website development, marketing and social networking, and have a thirst for knowledge and a passion for our country then this internship is perfect for you.

Who’s Who of Southern Africa is an online professional platform that assists professionals in creating, managing and growing their personal brand and reputation. Who’s Who of Southern Africa is a registered trademark and a business unit of the Naspers Group of companies. Partners include Remembered.co.za, Who’s Who in Kenya, News24, Careers24, McGregor BFA and a host of other exciting up-and-coming websites. The successful applicant will work across various products, with a primary focus on whoswho.co.za. The successful applicant will also be encouraged and taught how to contribute to content development in the form of blog posts and social media updates, among other tasks.

Core Responsibilities:

· Upload content to websites.

· Online Research.

· Proof read and fact check.

· Summarise information.

· Contribute ideas as part of the editorial team.

· Participate in social media.

· User/customer interaction and assistance.

 

Skills and Competencies:

· Interest and understanding of Social Networks and internet in general.

· Good research skills.

· Impeccable Spelling and Grammar.

· An eye for detail.

· Computer Literate.

· Fast Learner.

· Imagination and initiative.

 

Qualifications:

· Minimum Matric.

· English, Media, Communications or related Diploma or degree advantageous.

 

Remuneration:

· A market related stipend will be paid to the successful applicant.

Location:

· Applicants must reside in Cape Town or surrounds. Office hours are 9 to 5, Monday to Friday.
