SARS: Graduate Traineeship Programme 2015

To be trained in practical workplace taxation and auditing; and to gain exposure to perform entry level tax audits. This will be a 24 month development Programme.

Qualification

•  B Comm Hons (Taxation or Accounting)
•  Accounting at a minimum 3rdyear level
•  B Comm Hons completed before December 2014
•  B Com Hons competed at a SAICA accredited South African University

Requirements

•  Recently qualified university graduates with less than 18 months formal work experience
•  Sound academy record
•  Above average communication skills (written and verbal)
•  Passion for taxation, accounting and auditing
•  South African citizen

Competencies

• Be discreet when dealing with client information
•  Ensure that the requirements of SARS are met
•  Understand age analysis of accounts
•  Understand general ledger structures
