The media personality and entrepreneur received a lot of negative remarks from people who judge women who drink beer. Some said, women who drink beer are such a turn off, whereas others said, it makes them appear manly. Instead of Dineo clap backing at the haters, she found a way to engage the public on this issue. She came up with the Hold My Beer hashtag, encouraging women not to succumb to the bullying they normally get when they drink beer.

Another female celebrity has taken to Twitter to boldly reveal that she enjoys beer. Makgotso M says, she drinks beer from time to time, and her first pick is always Carling Black Label. From the responses the talented actress got, it looks like more people are warming up to the fact that it is OK for women to drink beer. After all, the year is 2021, and we have to move with the times.

“I drink beer from time to time, and my first pick, black label and I have no shame about it,” Makgotso said.
