Metropolitan: Customer Services Agents Opportunity

Metropolitan Health is looking for 6 Customer Services Agents in Cape Town. These vacancies are available in the Customer Services Department for the GEMS Business Unit. This exciting opportunity awaits a go getter who is a self-motivated individuals. You will be responsible for dealing with member queries and ensuring service delivery in line with the Business Unit SLA.

The Incumbent will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the resolution of client queries and aim to achieve first call resolution
  • Maintaining the goodwill of the company by upholding the SLA standards
  • Investigating queries where necessary and provide timeous feedback to the member
  • Interpreting the query and determine appropriate path of resolution
  • Escalating queries where necessary to ensure member satisfaction
  • Accurate logging of information for statistical reporting purposes

The applicant should meet these requirements:

  • Matric or Grade 12 equivalent
  • MS Office proficiency
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a call centre or client service environment is essential
  • Medical aid administrative experience (would be an advantage)
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Preferred languages: isiZulu,ePedi, seTswana, IsSwati and isiNdebele
  • You will be required to work a 6 day week, i.e. Monday to Fridays from 08H00 to 17H00 and on Saturdays from 8H00 to 12H00. Saturday work will be based on operational requirements.
