Description
To maintain signal apparatus according to reliability centred maintenance principles and to report potential failures to ensure that the equipment complies with required norms and standards.
Position outputs
Fault finding and repairs on all outside equipment up to outgoing panel in relay room
Be prepared to do stand-by duties
Must be prepared to stay away from home depot as and when required
Qualifications & Experience
Grade 12 school certificate with Maths and Science as a passed subject
N3 electrical certificate
Must have completed the necessary Technical Worker (Signal) training at a Training College
Be in possession of a (Code B) Driver’s Licence and be competent and prepared to drive such a vehicle
Physically fit
Able to work at heights
Not claustrophobic
