Transnet: Finance Graduate Opportuntiy
Purpose
Collating of information and investigation of variances against the budget in preparation of the monthly management reports
Outputs
- Assist Management Accountant with compilation and consolidation of annual operating budgets
- Assist Management Accountant with month end reporting processes, month end reporting and any other ad-hoc requirements
- Assist capital management Accountant with variance analysis of operating expenditure and revenue
- Conduct financial evaluation of OPEX Tender Evaluations
- Taking of minutes and preparation of reports, presentations, agendas and other memoranda and administrative requirements
Qualification
B.Com (or equivalent business degree) with Majors in Accounting and / or Finance
Competencies
- Strong numerical skills
- Analytical and interpretive skills
- Report writing skills
- Computer literate – Excel skills (an advantage)
