Funeral and Memorial Details of Lentswe Bhengu Released. When preparations for memorial and funeral services go underway, reality strikes in that indeed a beloved is no more. If you were in denial, now this is the time for you to accept that someone has passed on.

This could be the case with so many people who knew Lentswe Bhengu. Social media came to a standstill when it was recently announced that the celebrity chef, TV personality, author and content creator,had passed away. This is because Lentswe has been active on Instagram, with no sign that he might be sick or something.

From a statement posted on his social media pages by family, Chef Lentswe passed away on the 28th of February, at Sandton Medi-Clinic, where he was admitted. The statement further revealed that the celebrity chef, author and TV personality suffered a short illness, which he succumbed to.

The family has once again taken to Lentswe’s social media to update his fans, colleagues and followers on the proceedings prior to him being laid to rest. The family started by acknowledging the tremendous support they have been getting from the nation at large, and beyond.

Lentswe’s memorial services will be held in three different places. The first memorial will take place on 06 Monday in Johannesburg, at Every Nation Church Rosebank from 1pm. The second one will be in Durban on 07 Tuesday at Durban High School from 4pm. This particular memorial service will be hosted by DHS Old Boys. Another memorial service in Durban will be held on the same date at The Playhouse Company from 5pm, hosted by friends and industry colleagues.

Lentswe’s funeral service will be held at Amanzimtoti Civic Centre Hall on Wednesday 8th March from 10:30. The public is invited to attend any of the services, which are also going to be live streamed.
