Is Somizi Setting Up His Own Restaurant? Is there anything he can’t do! When the year started Somizi labelled it ‘Twenty Twenty Wam’, which loosely translates, he is making it his year. Without a doubt Somizi started 2020 with a bang and it is clearly his year. His cookbook, Dinner At Somizi’ s – I’m Not A Chef, recently became the number one selling book in Food & Beverage chart in South Africa.
Somizi is a perfect example that one can make money from their hobby. In 2020, the celebrated media personality, musician, actor and author launched a cooking show titled ‘Dinner at Somizi’s. On the show the multi-talented Somizi cooks for his celebrity guests as they enjoy interesting topics. Although the show is surrounded by plagiarism controversy, it was a hit among viewers across the country and beyond.
Whatever the case, nothing can dim his light. By the look of things, Somizi is onto another project, taking his culinary skills to yet another level. He recently shared a post on Instagram and it looks like he is setting up his own restaurant. The caption on the video also prove that a restaurant might be on the pipeline.
