It’s so nice to be part of the optimistic, driven and inspirational youth that we have become today. As they say it’s hip and happening and surprisingly bigger than any group of young people that SA has ever had.

If you have not noticed being a young person in SA today is such a blessing in a sense that you are exposed to limitless opportunities, limitless discoveries and limitless youth. And you belong to that group. You are at a place where you are overwhelmingly surrounded by questions and solutions at the same time. A place of a new you and a pool of fresh ideas and innovative thinking.

That’s not all, you are living at a time where only the achievers seem to be applauded and awarded. We cannot avoid the fact that the world has greatly evolved including our country. We have Exciting products, captivating programmes and amazing people, stuff that captures our attention. Some of us have not realised we are getting excited by other people’s work, other people’s achievements or ideas. While some of us saw this ages ago and began to do great things themselves.

Unfortunately even though some of us will learn about this truth, they won’t see anything wrong with living a life that of not being great. Sad right? I wish those young people would wake up and make up.

Now, if our dream was not to unite we would be comfortable with telling you to be and move on without you but we cannot. We want to go forward with you, not as a burden but an inspiration. We are not asking you to be big in a day or be like us but we are saying try. Try to be the best you, try to do one thing a day that pushes you towards your dream, try to commit to becoming better and in no time you will see, your drive, passion and commitment will be re-channelled in the right place, for the right cause.

Don’t subscribe to being left behind. You are the only one who is. Our power is so much that we are wired to go in various directions except behind. Every one of us has started, except or excluding you!
