The mission of the Limpopo Department of Economic Development, Environment and Tourism is to enable a competitive economy and sustainable environmental and tourism development towards an improved quality of life for all.
The Department’s strategic goals are to improve the service delivery to communities and stakeholders through a skilled, accountable, empowered and integrated Public Service; contribute to the growth of the economy and job creation through targeted interventions; protect and enhance environmental assets and natural resources; and have Limpopo positioned as the preferred tourist destination within the South African Development Community (SADC).
Invitation to Unemployed Tourism Graduates — to apply for placement within Local and District Municipalities.
The Department of Economic Development, Environment and Tourism invites applications from suitably qualified and unemployed tourism graduates to apply for placement at municipalities.
The tourism graduates will be placed in the municipalities where tourism structures and tourism partnership needs strengthening.
Tourism has been recognised as growing competitive business globally and growth is expected to increase over the next decade and will arguably have a “powerful impact” on the growth of the tourism industry worldwide.
This creates a huge demand incapacitating all industry players including Local and District Municipalities to provide the necessary environment that supports this growth.
Requirements
- Certified copies of Tourism Degree, Diploma or NQF 6
- Completed Z83 (CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE Z83)
- A recent and comprehensive CV
- Certified Identity Document
- Must be based in Limpopo
- Must not be older than 35
