Vacancy: Support Workers wanted at Kimberley Underground Mines

Kimberley Underground Mines JV is situated in the city of Kimberley in the Northern Cape. The Mine consists of 3 conventional slushier drift block cave mines. If you have Grade 10 and looking for a job at one of South Africa’s leading mines, then this opportunity is for you.

Kimberley Underground Mines has the following support vacancies:

Plant Assistant/Support Worker (Ref. SUPP02)

Support Worker (Scoop) (Ref. SUPP03)

The incumbents will operate bins/belts to ensure optimal utilisation of equipment and obtain set production targets.

 

Tasks and responsibilities:

Clean plant

Perform general production control

Check and clean screens

Unblock chutes.

 

Minimum requirements:

A Grade 10

 

Other skills/competencies:

Material handling

Good communication skills
