Vacancy :SABC is looking for 2x Camera operators

REQUIREMENTS/COMPETENCIES
 Good understanding of camera equipment and facilities within production environment.
 Knowledge, understanding of TV operations systems , workflows and processes
 Ensure the optimal visual composition of subject/object to deliver visual accurate complementary final image.
 Knowledge, understanding of OHS
 Obtain, set up and test equipment to ensure the availability of camera and resources necessary for shoot.
 Provide informal and formal training in order to ensure a competent staff production.
 Effective de-rigging of camera equipment and ensure its safe return to equipment store.
 Ensure optimal delivery on client needs and requirements.
 Able to work long hours under pressure.
 Able to give input during production regarding angels and shorts.
 Proficient use of all camera functions.
Ensure picture is always in focus
Ensure the optimal flow of image, smooth, tilt, pan, dolly, and crane
Effective control of the zoom facility.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

 Grade 12
 Equivalent qualification or relevant experience

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

 Good eye-sight and hearing
 Good hands and eye coordination
 Good team player
 Abel to maintain concentration
 Physical strength
