Unathi Announces Her Cool Upcoming Gig. As we approach the festive season, there are so many gigs to look forward to. This means work opportunities for those in the entertainment industry.
One event that many are can’t wait no longer for is definitely Miss World South Africa. This first of it’s kind beauty pageant will take place on the 28th of October at the South African State Theatre. It will be hosted by the one and only Minnie Dalmini. The celebrated media personality, actress and entrepreneur will host the event for two years consecutively.
As it is the case with beauty pageants, there will be entertainment provided for the day. Unathi Nkayi has announced that she is one of the performances for the night, a gig she is grateful for. The award winning musician and media personality also sang the praises of event organizer Carol Bouwer, who she has admired for years.
“I have the honour of performing at the inaugural pageant taking place later this month. An honour I do not take for granted which has been given to me by the owner. The inimitable @bouwercarol a woman I have loved and admired for a very long time,” she said.
Unathi also spoke highly of the event, saying it sets Africa and South Africa on a global stage. She then celebrated the fact that her best friend Minnie will be the host. How cool!
“As I make my return to the MUSICAL STAGE with my new single to be released THIS SUMMER. I cannot wait to perform, for the VERY FIRST time on this prestigious stage, OUR soon to be SELF LOVE anthem “NDIYAZITHANDA’ @missworldsouthafrica,” she added.
