Although she has played many characters on different shows, many still remember her most as Thembeka, the character she played on e.tv soap Scandal! Even though she left Scandal! a few years ago, some people will always refer to her as Thembeka.

When Masasa Mbangeni shared a picture of a shoot she did, one of her fans commented, “Thembeka.” The actress was quick to point that the person on the picture is Masasa.

Another tweep chipped in though defending why Masasa was referred to as Thembeka, saying, “He’s just appreciating your talent.” Masasa clarified that the shoot was for a magazine shoot which had nothing to do with Thembeka.
