Cost & Management Accountant

Whilst you will be reporting to and guided by the Finance Manager, you need to be aware that this position requires the long-term commitment and stability of a motivated, energetic and dynamic individual who is aspiring to establish a solid career for themselves in a remote location.

This encompassing position within a manufacturing environment gives you a great platform to get involved in the following aspects of this job: ♦ Full control of the costing function, analysis and interpretation of the monthly management accounts ♦ Preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts ♦ Continual development and improvement of management information ♦ Provision of financial assistance to operational managers in decision making processes ♦ Staff management, development and mentoring of 6 direct reporting staff.

Qualified with a CIMA/BComm (with cost and management accounting major) or similar, our client will consider a graduate and/or experienced individual. You have excellent computer literacy in MS Office (Excel to advanced levels) and working knowledge on JDE or similar accounting packages. Assertive and organised, you need the ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently under pressure. As a team player, you possess good communication skills, with leadership experience being advantageous.
