The duration of the programme is twelve months, with effect from April 2014. Interested and qualifying graduates that are currently unemployed and never participated in an Internship Programme in the Public Service are invited to apply for these positions that are based at the Pretoria offices. The main focus of the Department of Science and Technology is on implementing the national research and development strategy. The strategy is implemented through an integrated approach that includes human resource development, knowledge generation, investment in science and technology infrastructure, and the strategic management of the public science and technology system. To assist us in
achieving our goals, we wish to appoint dynamic individuals in the following positions in our head Office in Pretoria.

Applications must be submitted on a Z83 form, obtainable from any Public Service department, and should be accompanied by a comprehensive CV, certified copies of academic record; certificate and identity document.

NB: Applications received after the closing date will not be considered. Correspondence will be limited to short-listed candidates only. Successful candidates will start their internship on 1 April 2014.

Duration: The internship programme is offered for a period of 12 months. Successful applicants will be required to sign an internship contract for the duration of the internship period.
