The media personality and singer opened up about her suspension from Metro FM in 2015 after a Twitter user posted their direct message exchange in which Unathi referred to them as a “psycho b**ch. 

Unathi was booted from Metro FM in 2017, after being with the station for 10 years. When Pearl Thusi asked her if she would ever go back to radio, she vehemently said no. “It broke me,” the emotional Unathi said. Just like many personalities who have left the station, Unathi spoke about the bad treatment she endured.

Unathi also talked about the impact social media trolls had on celebrities. She pointed out that cyberbullying was one of the main reasons for her exit from Metro FM.
