Lalela Mswane’s Foundation Launches Its First Mentorship Programme

Lalela Mswane’s Foundation Launches Its First Mentorship Programme. Established in 2019, the Lalela Mswane Foundation aims to empower the youth to soar beyond the boundaries that life has placed before them.

Since it’s launch the foundation has done a lot of great deeds, among them the blanket drive back in June 2020. They donated blankets to the homeless, protecting them against the hash winter. In July 2021, the Lalela Mswane Foundation spent the Nelson Mandela Day, with the Mohau Child Centre, where they donated a couple of necessities.

The foundation has now expanded their wings with the recent launch of Lalela Foundation Mentorship Programme. This is the opportunity for one to be mentored by the phenomenal Lalela Mswane. The beauty queen has achieved a lot in a very short period of time, and in some case under not so favorable situations. In 2021, Lalela was crowned Miss South Africa, 2nd runner up in Miss Universe 2021 and became Miss Supranational in 2022.

She has just officially opened applications for the Lalela Foundation Mentorship Programme. The aim of the programme is to empower female high school learners from the ages of 14 to 18 by imparting knowledge and skills. This will enable them not only to secure their economic futures but also to produce independent and successful members of society who can in the future uplift others.

Applications, which opened on the 1st October 2022 until 31 October 2022 are open for young ladies between the ages of 14-21. To apply, one should send an email at [email protected] by writing an essay of fewer than three pages, explaining Mswane why mentorship is important for young girls and why they deserve the opportunity to be mentored by the former Miss SA.
