The 41 year old former leader of South Africa’s opposition political party Democratic Alliance, who is very active on Twitter and comments on breaking news all the time, took a moment to wish his wife Natalie Rethabile Maimane a happy birthday. Maimane regards his wife as his friend, as well as an incredible mother to their kids. He wished her nothing but a beautiful 2022.
“On this day, this beautiful woman was born and I have been privileged call her my wife, my friend and an incredible mother to our children. Happy Birthday lerato la ka, Mme Natalie Rethabile Maimane. Ka lerato! Wish you an incredible year ahead,” Maimane said.
The Maimanes are among some of the most inspirational couples in the country. A year ago, the pair opened up about their marriage and how they have coped with the ups and downs of having public lives in an interview on Chim’s Talk Africa. Natalie shared that laughter is one of the major keys that keeps them in love with each other. She also said she blocks the outside noise about her husband and keeps what she reads about him online and in newspapers at a minimum.
Maimane has been married to Natalie since 2005, and the couple has three beautiful children Kgosi , Kgalaletso and Kutlwano-Grace Maimane.
