People feel sorry for him and yet I am the victim.

I am a Christian, beautiful and independent woman in my early thirties. Two months ago I met a Christian bachelor who proposed marriage and two weeks ago we got engaged. Last Saturday a woman knocked on my door and told me that my fiancée has impregnated her daughter. She is now 4 months up. I asked him he agreed he said he only slept with her once but said he loves me and wants to marry me. I have refused and have called off the wedding and al the plans. Because of this he is now sick and people are blaming me that am heartless. People are sorry for him and not me and yet am the victim here. What should I do?
