A year ago, the award-winning TV host was going through the most. Thembisa spent time in hospital after suffering Long-Covid. This is a condition where people continue to experience COVID-19 symptoms for longer than usual after initially contracting the SARS-CoV-2 virus. These long-term effects may include fatigue, respiratory symptoms, and neurological symptoms.
After spending time in the hospital, Thembisa got better and was discharged to go fully recover at home. From there after, she started from where she left in the industry by bagging presenting gig after gig. She also got a role on e.tv hit show, House of Zwide.
Thembisa has just shared another one of her wins, which is becoming a film producer. She has not revealed what film is she producing, but we are here for her growth in the industry. Taking to Twitter, Thembisa expressed her joy and excitement and above all, she showed gratitude..
“Last year, I wasn’t even sure I’d ever breathe or walk properly again. Today, I’m a film producer. Camagu Thongo lam,” Thembisa said.
