“I am Not An Englishman” Papa Penny Claps Back

It is not secret or rather a deniable fact that the Bum Bum hitmaker captured the hearts of South Africans with his reality TV show called Papa Penny Ahee. He invited Mzansi into his home so he can share with them the fun and sensible side of him that most people didn’t know. Papa Penny revealed that he is a father of 18 children, but unfortunately he doesn’t know his first born child because things turned sour with the mother of the child before the child was even born

The musician’s outfits reflect his house which is well decorated and entertaining. However, despite his entertaining self, some people commented on Papa Penny “broken English” and some of those comments angered the Shaka Bundu hitmaker and some of his fans. Some said that English is not a measure of intelligence.

“I am not an English man and I won’t change for anyone. I am an African man and I am proud of that. I was not born speaking English but I speak communicative English and that should be enough. People who speak to me understand me, so I don’t think it’s a problem” Papa Penny explained. He further added that he doesn’t really care about what people say about him and his broken English.

Papa Penny was right when he said last year that his show will break the internet. Papa Penny’s English might not be perfect, but he is doing very well for himself and clearly making more money than those who speak English fluently. Working hard really does pay off.
