Memorial and Funeral Services Details of Kuli Roberts Revealed. It is still hard to believe that Kuli Roberts is no more. The veteran media personality, journalist author and actress passed away on the 9th February 2022, after collapsing just a few moments before a radio interview.
Since her untimely passing, social media has been filled with heartfelt tribute in her honor. Kuli loved almost everyone, and always had time to pose for pictures with people where ever she was. The society at large have expressed how much she touched them while she was still alive, a legacy that will go on to times indefinite. Celebrities such as Pabi Moloi, Penny Lebyane, Nambitha Ben-Mazwi and so many more spoke highly of Kuli, and just how much she impacted their lives.
Unlike most personalities, Kuli used her celebrity status, not much for personal gain but to touch the lives of others. She always spoke her mind and was always empathetic to minority groups such as the LGBTQ+ community, women, Black people and those living with Albinism.
It goes without saying that the masses would love to bid her farewell as she gets laid to rest. Her memorial and funeral service details have just been released. From a statement shared by Kuli’s sister Hlubi Mboya-Arnold, they will hold a service to celebrate Kuli’s life this coming Wednesday, 16th February at Birchwood Hotel.
Her funeral will take place at a private ceremony and will only be attended by family, close friends and of course the media. The public doesn’t have to despair though as the service will be live-streamed. Kuli will be laid to rest on Thursday 17th February in Johannesburg.
