DJ Dimplez, who was one of the celebrities present at Riky Rick’s memorial a few days ago, lost bis life this past Sunday after suffering a brain haemorrhage.

DJ Dimplez, whose real name is Tumi Mooi, is one of the pioneers who pushed SA Hip-Hop. He is also known as the founder and pioneer of Pop Bottles event series, and also pioneered the PopCast podcast. After his sudden passing, DJ Dimplez’s family released a statement announcing his death, and went on to ask the public for privacy as they deal with the tragic news.

The family has just released another statement announcing the dates as well as details of Dimplez’s funeral and memorial services. He will be laid to rest this Friday on the 11th of March 2022. The funeral will be a private event, which will only be attended by family and close friends. The rest of the people, will be catered for though, via online services.
