All Sorts of Emotions As 7de Laan Reaches Final Day of Shooting. It’s always sad when a show comes to an end. One can think of cast and crew members now being out of work. There are also viewers, who religiously followed the show, making characters a big part of their lives.

So far this year, we have bid farewell to amazing shows such as The Queen, Diep City, Imbewu, The River and most recently Gomora. Sadly more shows are being canned, and regardless of ratings and awards, no show is safe. Now another show, 7de Laan is also coming to an end.

Back in July, the long running SABC2 soapie announced that it was coming to an end. This comes after a whole 24 seasons on air.

7de Laan has just shared a new update. They have just recorded their final episode, and it’s a bitter sweet moment.
